Testimonial from Rev. GED. MACDONALD, B.D.,
Manse of Rosskeen, Invergordon.
Manse of Rosskoen,
Invergordon, 22nd April, 1809.
hereby certify that Miss HENDERSON, who is now finishing her erm at the Training Centre, Aberdeen, has been well known to me from her infancy, and that I have formed a very favourable opinion I have watched her career at school of her character and abilities.
with much interest and satisfaction.
She was an excellent scholar and took prizes in almost all her She lassce. She was medallist in the Invergordon Academy. ompleted her curriculam 28 P. T. in the same school, sud unlike good many papil teachers, she was well advanced in ber education before beginning to teach. She had already passed the Leaving Certificate Examination in Higher English, French, and German, She accordingly and in some other subjects in the Lower Grade. began teaching well qualified, and proved a superior and successful
Laacher.
Miss HENDERSON taught as Interim Toacher in the Secondary Department of the Academy last year for a few months, and gave She was overy satisfaction to the Headmaster and School Board. one of the best teachers we have had. I attach great importance to her training as P. T. in such a school as Invergordon.
Miss HENDERSON graduated M.A. at Aberdeen University this mmonth. She Was A King's Student for one year, and afterwards attended the Aberdeen Training Centre, and she now expects to Miss have her term there completed in the month of July next. HENDERSON will be better equipped than most teachers for her work, and I anticipate a high place for her in the teaching profession. I should add that she is hardworking, painstaking, conscientious, and deserving of the promotion which, I feel sure, will come in due time.
(Signed)
GEO, MACDONALD, B.D.,
Chairman of School Board.
